EVO DEVO STAFF
Matt Ellis
Matt has been involved in cycling all his life. He started racing as a youth a long, long time ago, before progressing to become a professional cyclocross rider based in Belgium for 4 years. He also raced road and mountain bike along the way.
He is now a coach, builder and the current Great Britain Cycling Team cyclocross coordinator.
Ed Collins
Ed is passionate about cycling having started racing at 9 years old and continuing to develop and racing mountain biking at a professional level. After taking a break from cycling to concentrate on his career, Ed joined a local cycling club to get back into cycling and began coaching cyclocross over 10 years ago.
Andy Naylor
Andy has a wide range of experience at national and international level, with a primary focus on cyclocross but also taking in MTB and road. He was schoolboy National MTB champion, with later podium placings in the National Trophy Series as an U23. He made a number of trips to race on the continent, before breaking his ankle and focussing on his academic studies more. He returned to cycling after a gap, winning the NDCXL league title before becoming increasingly involved in the administration of the sport. For several years he was a member of the National Cyclocross Commission and sat on the cyclocross selection panel for the Great Britain Cycling Team until 2021.
Sara Naylor
Sarah began cycling in 2007 in order to spend more time with her husband, beginning with a Go-Ride cross race and finishing last, not even noticing she’d got a flat tyre. From then on she improved year on year, winning the NDCXL league title twice and team gold at the inter-area championships with top-15 national rankings. She spent several years actively involved in the running of the local league, plus an increasing amount of time providing pit support to a range of racers, from team mates to full time riders. Most recently she and Andy were pit crew for Annie Last’s 2022-23 cyclocross campaign in Belgium.
